Debugging the HTML code

debuging the html codes was quite difficult for me.this is because i had to constanly refresh the page and try to adjust the codes to get the correct output that i want. top prevent lots of these, i tried writing my codes in a sheet of paper first before transfering it to the note pad. after typing, and i realise there's any mistake, i check it first on my rough before correcting it on my notepad.Debbugging was nery stressful for me because sometimes i find it hard to realise where the error is from. common mistakes i made was that: first i forgot my clossing tag after my sentence. making mistakes in some codes, eg swithching the code for inserting an image with an hyperlink. Also to be more contious, i tried to preview in order to check for misteks.

My report

This is my first time of blogging which made this assignment quite difficult for me.
during the commencement of this assignment, i found it quite confusing based on the whole process because i didnt really understand what was expected, besides the creation of the html codes which had been taught in class by the lecturer.

In starting this assignment, i used the Hyper Text Markup Language “HTML” to design our webpage by using the Notepad text editor.We then tried to use the codes that we have learnt in classes and lab sections. I also tried out some new codes i saw online.The codes are written in notepad and the file name is saved as .html. The advantages of practicing these codes during our assignment are; first, it helps me to be familiar with the HTML language for creating websites. Also learning the content of WebPages and how it's division into parts divided into parts is .

Choosing which web hosting server to use was some how difficult. This is because i had no account with geocities and does not offer free services anylonger. it was a bit tense because i fond it difficult to understand BRAVEHOST interface. I also found that Bravehost was a bit cluttered with ads and it wouldn't look nice. I didn't have much difficulty with blogger because i tried to understand the interface. At first though, I was a bit stressful,as I could not find a place to insert the HTML codes. And when I did realise a place, it didn't turn out as it should. i like blogger because it very userfriendly.

Uploading files to the web server was easy as they have labeled buttons that were easy to locate. moreoever, it was justlike a normal process to me. Eg normal just like every other social sites and picture sharing sites. Also since the file sizes weren't large, it took a short while to be uploaded. one useful thing i realised is that, THE BLOGGER site is very userfriendly.

FINALLY:

After creating our blogs, i started writing my report about all the activities and steps which i used during the assignment.
In doing this assignment, I learned how to use HTML codes to create a webpage, how to use a web hosting server, and how to blog (in Blogger). I learned a lot about HTML codes and which tags are for what functions and so on. Doing this type of assignment again, would be very interesting for me because i know i'll learn more things than what i've learnt with this project.researching on different web hosting to use was also fun, although most of them were not very okay for me.

Finally I would like to say that this assignment was really a beneficial practice for me and I hope that I will be more able to develop this webpage in the future by using some other codes in HTML.
